The story of Gruppo Eurovo is the story of a family that, for three generations, has combined the strength of tradition with the drive for innovation. A path born from the vision of Rainieri Lionello, an entrepreneur from Veneto who, in the mid-twentieth century, decided to start a whole new business: egg processing.

Founded in the mid-20th century by Rainieri Lionello together with his wife Anita, Eurovo began as a small artisanal enterprise specializing in egg processing. In the first workshops, manual shelling and storage in large tanks made it possible to create the first egg products destined for local bakeries and pasta factories. From this intuition came steady growth, built on commitment, quality and innovation. Today, after more than 70 years, Eurovo is one of the leading European companies in the sector, still led by the Lionello family and a symbol of excellence and continuity over time.

1948 - The Beginnings

The story begins with the adventure of Rainieri Lionello

The Group's origins date back to 1948, when Rainieri Lionello and his wife Anita started a small business in the Padua area shelling eggs by hand for pasta and pastry factories. In the following years, the intuition turned into a business: in 1967, the purchase of the first egg-shelling machine marked the transition from an artisanal reality to a structured industry.
